Email alerting for detecting device status (online/offline) doesn't work sometimes

I use fing box alerting for over one year to identify the status of mobile devices. The history list for the devices in fing app (android and web) is always ok (recognized presence of devices as expected), however on one day the messages have been sent to my email account but on another day the messages are missing. The behaviour is not predictable. I have doblechecked the settings in the fing app, but I didn't found any deviations. Are there any other known reasons for impacting this function?
