Network computers and cell phones and the like showing up twice

I have the newest Fing desktop for Windows and I keep getting some of my network stuff shows up twice on the list and one will be grayed out and its twin will be black text black.

    Without seeing a screen shot of what your seeing, I'd say that if you've connected these units via ethernet and also via wifi at some stage then you'll have 2 shown (one for each connection type).  the greyed out listing will be the unit off-line.

    I would like you to make sure all devices are connected to your network on which the Fing Desktop App is currently connected to. If you are connected to the 5ghz network and Fing is connected to the 2.4ghz network even though they all have the same name, you might not see the devices connected under the Device tab. And, if the router has multiple network interface which provides multiple frequencies(2.4Ghz and 5Ghz), and the devices are able to connect to multiple access points then you will see multiple names but only one will be active at a time and others will be greyed out.

    Yes I have 5G and 2.4, all of the wireless cells and such are on the 5G and the computer is on the Ethernet cabled.  Same router.
