Here's an interesting idea:

Looking at this article about a Pi-like device called the NanoPi ship's standard with two Ethernet ports.  You may remember that the Raspberry Pi has an Ethernet and a wireless connectivity option, what makes the NanoPi more interesting than the Raspberry Pi?

I'm SO glad that you asked that question.

Factoring that the NanoPi may be as cost-effective as the Raspberry Pi, sub $100 device partnered with Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition could mean that tech-savvy people can have a business-class level of protection using the Sophos firewall, for little more than the time to install and configure it.  Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition is free to download and use.

This may be a project on my list before the end of the year.

Nice idea. Maybe you could do a thread on the project once you start?
