I am new to Fing. Should the Overlook.Fing Service come with the Fing App?

I recently installed the Fing app on my IPhone. I saw there was an overlook.fing process running. When I looked it up, apparently it’s the command line interface that can be ran inside a terminal? Anyways, I have never used Fing in this manner. Is this normal?

    Hi @Komo
Welcome to Fing family and Thanks for your post. I have moved this post to Fing App category and to address your query, yes it is perfectly normal. Our Fing App has its cloud server running on the Linux server and some commands running in background are part of that.
