Internet connectivity issue: MAC Desktop

Any change to the ports 0.6.1 uses? It downloaded and installed, and now cannot connect to the internet. Version 0.5.7 did the same. I traced it to the gateway/firewall, and fixed the issue. When 0.6.0 installed, it wasn't affected. Therefore I assume something has changed (port? MAC?) to cause the disconnect.
The symptom - 0.6.1 sits on home page and keeps cycling. 'This Device' is green, 'Your network' is 5 checks passed 1 failed (but shows 2 issues, see attached), 'Internet' = 1 passed 1 failed.
Desktop appears to scan devices on the LAN OK, but then complains about scan corrupted.
