How to stop internet outage notifications

What setting change do I have to make to stop getting notifications about major internet outages in my area? I have been getting them for the past two days. My internet works fine. I am getting tired of the notifications.

Just came here to ask the same question. The notifications about internet outages aren't relevant to me as they don't apply to my ISP. Can I turn them off, or at least filter them so I only get them if they relate to my ISP?

    Hi @Fingum @olliebean
Welcome to the Fing community and great to have you here.
We're still working on a way to turn those off individually for ISP alerts. I'll update the community when I have any more news at all.
In the meantime, you could review your alert settings here: https://app.fing.com/login
And also review your push notification settings here (and disable those): https://help.fing.com/knowledge-base/network-device-digitalfence-alerts/
Let me know any other way I can help.

Actually here is exactly where to adjust the email/notification settings in your account: https://app.fing.com/app#user:settings

Thanks; it appears Fing has my prior ISP, Sky, set as my home ISP, which is why I'm getting alerts about their outages, although I don't remember setting this and I can't see any way to change it to my current ISP. The page where this is shown shows BT as my current ISP, with an option to make it my home ISP, but this is wrong - my current ISP is Plusnet. And I'd sooner not have my ISP registered at all, as it isn't relevant to how I use Fing and is likely to change again in the future, but I can't see any option for that either.

    Hi @olliebean
Hopefully I can help a bit. As mentioned, we're working on getting the disabling of the alerts. In the meantime, you could try and adjust things for your ISP alerts. (or disable any notifications as well)
We use GEOIP2 City Database API by MaxMind. They update their database every week. If the Fing App shows a different ISP name rather than what you use, It is because the same name is picked up GEOIP2 City Database.

While using the ISP you want to know about, you could go to https://app.fing.com/internet and check which ISP is shown as current and then set that as HOME ISP.

Apart from that for disabling the alert, we haven't implemented any feature yet to disable the outage alerts only.

I do hope this may come soon.
