Interface has totally changed since upgrading my phone, how do I get my original interface back?

I set up Fing, had my son's schedules done and was working great on my phone app. I upgraded my phone to an iphone 7 (13.1.3) and now the recognizable interface no longer exists and I can only pause his tech by going through the online app. How can I get my old interface back?

Hello @varieze2019_ and welcome to the community!

What version of iOS were you on previously? I ask because Apple started blocking access to the MAC addresses of networked devices on iOS 10 or 11.

The fine folks in Fingland are currently working on a Windows and Mac desktop client to restore some of this lost functionality, in addition this can also be regained through use of a Fingbox.

@VioletChepil: Mind moving this to the Fing app category, please?

No, I was asking what was the previous version you were on, not the current one.

    Hi @varieze2019_
in iOS 13+ you need to enable new location permissions to continue using the app as you were before. This is new iOS rules.
Let me know if that solves things.
    Cheers!

I had read that thread, went into my phone settings, Fing app, Location and chose Always. It did not change what the app on my phone looks like or give me back my original settings- like setting up sleep mode for my kids ipad. The only way to pause his electronics is to use the web app through my phones browser (Fing-Netw0rk Scanner, Fing Limited).

I'll try deleting the app and reinstalling today.

In the old interface I was able to see when my internet went down and it would log internet speeds by date and time. I am on IOS 13.3.1. How do i find that information when the new interface? Also how can j check my internet speeds at home while i am not home? Old interface let me do that and just connect to my fing through the app but i am not seeing that functionality in the new interface.

    Hi @Murgh
We have not removed any features from the Fing App but only added new features like Live ISP outage and many others. I would like to know if you have a Fingbox or not? If you have a Fingbox, then please make sure you are logged in with the Fingbox account. Thanks
